Reviewers generally agreed that this upscale MGM Resorts outpost, located in Oxon Hill, Maryland, 11 miles south of Washington, D.C., is not as good as the casinos in Las Vegas, but they also noted that it is conveniently close to the National Harbor entertainment complex and offers a wide selection of shops and restaurants. There’s a Shake Shack, a fancy food court, and restaurants like Voltaggio Brothers Steak House, which are associated with famous chefs. But MGM National Harbor has more to offer than just excellent dining options. Visitors can take in a live show in the 3,000-seat theater, swim in the outdoor pool, or observe the themed floral arrangements in the conservatory. There are multiple bars and lounges as well as a 27,000-square-foot spa.
